Music, arrangement, and lyrics by Max Barber. This song is about when people give up on you, and the things you were told to believe in and follow all end up being lies and just a way for others to manipulate and influence you to do what they desire, rather than what you desire. You then find yourself not wanting to believe in anything, and that the world is slowly fading and getting worse by the day. Therefore you start your life over from scratch, and live everyday as if it's your last. Musically it's very frantic in the beginning, but as the music progresses, it gives you a sense of retribution and rebirth by the end of the song.
